The 32nd annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center November 13 - 16, 2008.
Each Fall, aficionados of the handmade and the unique come to the juried, nationally recognized show in search of just the right piece to bring extra artistic punch to their surroundings. Hundreds of artisan textiles, jewelry and housewares of the highest quality are on view and for sale.
This premier show and sale of contemporary craft includes nearly 200 of the finest and most dynamic craft artists in the United States, selected from more than 1,400 applicants. For the first time, a number of artists will represent Israel.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is presented annually by The Women's Committee and Craft Show Committee for the benefit of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and helps to raise funds in order to purchase works of art for the Museum's prestigious collections.
