In my own defense, I must state up front that I am devoted to Philadelphia area theater. The Arden. The Wilma. Plays & Players, the PTC at the new Suzanne Roberts Theater, and others. I especially love the nerve of the less established theater troupes, who have nothing to lose and therefore bet it all, every time!

I remember the first time I went to Philly Aids Thrift (PAT) over two years ago: I bought a brown leather belt and a t-shirt that says “The Head Nut” and features a cartoon of a giant walnut.
